Terms and licence

These terms apply to the Meus kits (Clip Studio, Cinematic Edit and Meus Studio) and sit alongside our store terms of service and privacy policy.

What you're buying

When you buy a kit you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use it on computers you own or control, for yourself or your own business, including work you do for clients.

Your videos belong to you

The videos, clips and other files you make with a kit are yours. You can publish and sell them anywhere, including for clients and in ads. You're responsible for having the rights to the footage, music and likenesses you use.

What you can't do

• Resell, share, publish or give away the kit or any part of it.
• Repackage the kit, its skills, templates or guides as your own product, course or template.
• Use the kit to build a competing product.

Open-source components

The kits install free, open-source tools from their official sources. They remain under their own licences, listed on our credits page. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under those licences.

Other companies' services

You need your own Claude or ChatGPT plan to use the kits. Those plans are provided by Anthropic and OpenAI under their own terms and usage limits. Meus is an independent brand and is not affiliated with either company.

No guarantee of results

We test our kits carefully, but results depend on your footage, your computer and your AI plan. The kits are provided as they are. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the kit, and we're not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Updates

We may update, change or withdraw a kit at any time. Orders already placed aren't affected.
